We're Going on a Mission!

Who's "we"?

On the ground we will be supported by a Secretariat that comprises Philomena Tann, and L9 students Michael Lee, Brandon Koh, Samntha Gray, Shanice Goh and Michelle Chua.

Just a couple things to keep in mind as we go forward to plan and operationalise the Mission: God is preparing an extraordinary experience for all involved in this Mission - teens and adults alike - one that will literally change your life and the lives that you lead. Be prepared for God to work in, on, and through you as you go on this Mission. There will be many miracles if you listen. And if you listen, you will hear his voice more clearly:

“All power in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go, therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age.” (Mt. 28:18-20.)

And the Lord gives this assurance:

“… be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you where ever you go.” (Josh. 1:8)

We will be in Bicol from 8-9 December 2011.That's less than three months away. Prepare us Lord, spiritually and physically for this trip. Amen.
